QSTARZ is taking its familiarity with GPS receivers and integrating a data logger to form the newfangled BT-Q1000. This two-faced device doubles as a Bluetooth GPS receiver to navigate your course and allows you to "record your routes" in order to plot points on Google Earth and disseminate the map to your envious pals. Moreover, you can use the device to more accurately tag where your travel photos were snapped along the way, and if you're in the fleet management biz, this here tool can keep your motorists from straying too far off the beaten path. Designed to last a whopping 32-hours without a recharge, the BT-Q1000 can make your next journey a whole lot more memorable.
Functions:
POI button: save the position of a point of interest with just the press of a button.
Record Modes: you can configure 3 different modes:
1. Time: save your position every few seconds/minutes.
2. Distance: save your position after a certain distance.
3. Speed: save your position when you change your speed.
Navigation modes: configure the device according to the type of route for a better performance (vehicle, bicycle or on foot).
3 configuration levels: basic, advanced and professional.
Records up to 100,000 points.
Dual mode: can function as a Bluetooth GPS receiver for navigation or simply as a Datalogger.
USB 2.0 Connectivity: to transfer waypoints to your PC/Laptop and configure the working parameters of the GPS (via the included PC software. It does not function as a cable GPS).
Integration with Google Earth: thanks to the included software (as well as the configuation of the working mode of the GPS) export the points saved in a format compatible with Google Earth (.kml).
